Hosted Buyer Program
This fair is the most efficient tourism platform of Turkey and helps companies improve their competitiveness and find new opportunities by means of new business networks. The fair is designed to introduce Turkey's tourism opportunities and resources - particularly of Ýzmir - to foreign tourists and buyers. For this purpose, tour operators, purchasing teams of travel agencies, as well as tourism media from the various regions of the world will be invited to the fair under the name of "Hosted Buyer Program." This program is organized with the cooperation of Turkish Airlines and Hilton Ýzmir. The purchasing committees from Greece, Russia, Croatia, Syria, Slovenia, Libya, Persia, Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina have already signed up for the program. Their accommodation and travel costs will be covered and they will be hosted in Ýzmir. They will meet with exhibitors in workshops which will be organized in the fair area. In addition, a committee from Sarajevo Canton (Bosnia-Herzegovina); which is the "Guest of Honour" will visit the fair this year.
