TÜRSAB - Association of Turkish Travel Agencies

TÜRSAB - Association of Turkish Travel Agencies - is a professional organization with the status of legal person, established by law in 1972. (The law concerning travel agencies and the association of travel agencies; law no 1618, effective as of 28 September 1972).

The main aims of the association are the development of the travel agency profession in harmony with the country’s economy and tourism sector and protection of the professional ethics and solidarity.

In accordance with the law no. 1618, travel agencies can be established upon the issue of an operation licence by the Ministry of Tourism and are obliged to become a member of TÜRSAB in order to be able to conduct travel agency bussiness, and offer services specified by the law no.1618.

İZFAŞ

İZFAŞ / İzmir Fair was founded with the initiative of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality in 1990. İZFAŞ gains strong support from the business circles, as the other shareholders are İzmir Chamber of Commerce, Aegean Region Chamber of Industry, Turkish Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Aegean Exporters Union and İzmir Stock Exchange.

In her own fairground, İZFAŞ organizes and assists in arrangement of about 35 specialized fairs in different sectors every year.İZFAŞ is one of the leading fair organizers in Turkey and Owns K-Q TSE-ISO EN 9001:2000 Quality System Certificate. İZFAŞ also organizes UFI member international fairs "İzmir International Fair" and the second biggest natural stone fair of the world "MARBLE Fair".
